This rustic and bold bruschetta is a perfect appetizer for parties or even for dinner! It is super easy to make and people are always impressed by this! Check out my recipe below and see how I made this, I hope you will try to make it for your next party!

What you will need:

-Artisan bread

-Plum Tomatoes (7)

-3 Garlic cloves

-Half Shallot

-1 TBS Olive Oil

-Salt and Pepper

Italian food is probably my favorite kind of food out there! I think its mostly because I love tomatoes and they are in about every Italian dish out there! This bruschetta has all of my favorite flavors and makes me so happy to make and eat!

I first chop up my tomatoes, shallot, garlic and basil. Try to make them all around the same size, if the tomatoes are a little larger that is ok!

Now mix these all in a bowl with the olive oil, salt and pepper and basil.

Let sit in the fridge for about 2-3 hours. This is so important to bring the flavors together!

Now turn your often on broil, slice your bread to about 1 inch slices. Lay on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. I also sometimes will sprinkle with pepper.

Broil for 5-10 mins. Check every few minutes for desires crispness on bread. Now once you take it out this is key!

Take a full garlic clove that is peeled and rub it onto the bread. This adds so much flavor to the bread!

Spread on bruschetta well as some shredded mozzarella cheese and serve!

All of your guests will enjoy this robust appetizer and I think you will too! I made this as an appetizer on Christmas Eve and it was a huge hit!
